Eighty miles from downtown Los Angeles, nestled in the San Bernardino mountains..…

lies the beautiful and quaint mountain refuge of Lake Arrowhead. Named for its large arrowhead shaped rock formation and known for its fresh, pine air, a-frame cabins and sparkling clean water, Lake Arrowhead is such a special place for us and we can’t wait to experience it with you.

We’ve included an insider’s guide to the best things to do in town, from dining and drinking to where to stay and what to do, as well as tips for your travel.

Lake Arrowhead
Resort and Spa

A lakeside resort where our ceremony and reception will take place, Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is also located a quick two minute walk to the Lake Arrowhead Village, where you’ll find countless options for dining and drinks.

We have arranged a limited block of rooms for guests at a discounted rate, please use this link to book online. You can also call the resort to book your room. Please reference the Christiansen-Stern Wedding to confirm a room in our block.

Please note: The resort requires a 2 night minimum, and September is their high season, so please book at your earliest convenience.

Lake Arrowhead also has ample cabins for rent via AirBnB, VRBO, or checkout rentals.arrowheadrent.com.

Please note: rideshare can be hard to come by on the mountain, so please be aware when selecting your accommodations. Anything walking distance to the Lake Arrowhead Village will be walking distance to all wedding activities.

Enjoy Lake Arrowhead Resort

Hit the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, relax by the private beach and take a dip in the lake (beware the jaguar shark) or treat yourself to some luxury by booking a spa service at the resort’s Spa of the Pines.

Explore The Village

Take a relaxing stroll around the Lake Arrowhead Village and enjoy the lake view. You can walk right up to the lake, feed ducks and geese, walk to the dog park and relax on the concert lawn or explore some of the kitschy shops.

Enjoy a Nearby Hike

The forest is abundant with wonderful day hikes to choose from. The Will Abell Memorial Trail is an easy hike with wonderful views. A 1.9 mile loop that will take you to a lookout over Lake Arrowhead, it takes an average of 59 min to complete.

Lake Arrowhead is charming and QUAINT. It is not a late night town, so if you plan to arrive after 9pm on Friday, we recommend eating before you drive up the mountain or stopping in Blue Jay at the Dogwood Tavern, a short drive from the resort. You can also find sustenance at the Stater Brothers market in the Village (open until 11pm) or at the 24 hour 7-11 (they often have baked to order pizza that is perfectly adequate.)

A quick 2 minute walk from The Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, Lake Arrowhead Village hosts a variety of eateries and cafes, including delis, wine and cheese vendors, ice cream and malt shops, tea outlets, hot sauce outlets, and breakfast places.
